Thank You Treats
We have some friends helping us keep the kids this week while we are at work (only a few more weeks of school! WOOHOO!), and I wanted to send some little treats for the kids to give them as a thank you. I die cut this Basket using my SU die and Big Shot. Both of the projects feature a Lemon Tart cardstock container, Cosmo Cricket Delovely papers, rhinestones, and Unity store kit stamps.
Because, well, 2 extras kids all day deserves CHOCOLATE!!
I also made an end of the year gift for my teaching assistant (and moreso, my FRIEND). My daughter Katy has an amber bead necklace. Genuine amber beads are supposed to allow amber absorption into the skin and help with pain relief and calming. We bought them for Katy for 2 reasons...They are supposed to help with teething (and, hey, calming sounds great in general... :D) and they are just so CUTE! See exhibit A...
(Notice that Katy requires TWO headbands...little diva girl!)
So my teaching assistant has taken to the idea of something that could provide calming. Whenever she gets a little stressed, she says, "Amber beads!!" So it was only natural (haha...) that I purchased some adult-sized amber beads for the two of US! My friend Jill sells these beads (become a fan of Heavenly Blessed on Facebook for more details), along with lots of other cute and mostly natural products. We also get our Baby Legs from her. Little Miss Katy LOVES her Baby Legs. ;) I tucked a necklace in this little pillow box (die cut using my Big Shot and SU die).
