Six Chicks Project Parade on the 6th Day of Xmas!

Wow! What a day today is! :) Not only is it the SIXTH Day of Christmas at Limelight Papercrafts, meaning a fun challenge, sales, and PRIZES, but today is also the 6th of the month. That means that each of the Limelight Six Chicks (design team members) and the 7th Six Chick (the exceptionally talented Tiffany Johnson) are bringing you lots of fabulousness and inspiration!!

This month, I challenged the girls to create a treat or baked good container with either a matching card or recipe card! You MUST check out each and every creation!! :) For mine, I was inspired by Martha Stewart (who isn't, right?) and created a Cookie Envelope! (Did you hear me, Lee? A COOKIE envelope!!) The directions for the cookie envelope are quite simple! You cut an 8" square of patterned paper (Martha suggests tissue paper, but I had fun with patterned paper!), fold in the sides, and then fold in the top and bottom. That's IT. Really! I actually cut a 7" square of wax paper and secured it inside the patterned paper piece before folding so that the cookie wouldn't get the paper all oily and yucky. Eww. If you want to see Martha's instructions, CLICK HERE.

Are you wondering what kind of cookie is inside? SNICKERDOODLES! YUM! I use THIS RECIPE, and I have for a long while. It's Emeril's recipe, and it's easy and FANTASTIC. You will love it!

Stamps: Tinsel Town Clear Stamp Set (Pink Paislee). Paper: Tinsel Town - White Christmas. WNP Moss, White. Ink: Bravo Burgundy (SU), Silver Colorbox, Pistachio Colorbox. Accessories: Brown Satin Ribbon, Green Rick Rack, Paper Piercer, Pop Up Dots.

And on the Sixth Day of Christmas....
BECKY brings to us Christmas Bingo!!! Be sure to visit her blog HERE and play along! She's have a package each of Hot Pink Rhinestones and a Bell Rhinestone Picture up for grabs!! And don't forget...you'll be entered into the grand prize drawing for each challenge in which you participate!

Limelight brings to you Pyramid Boxes (in white or red!) for ONLY $0.50 each! Stock up! These are great boxes for little gifts like jewelry or candy...any small trinket, really! Be sure to pick up a few to try! Click HERE for the deals!
