Six Chicks Challenge #11! (I STAMPED!!)

Are the presents bought and wrapped? Is the tree decorated? Are the holiday lights twinkling? Is your head spinning faster than a dreidel? It's the most wonderful time of the year! This week we encourage you to stop, and take a minute to do something for yourself! Grab your favorite patterned papers (or wrapping paper for the multitaskers!) and sit down with our simple sketch. We can't wait to see what you'll create!

  • Sketch and Product Challenge with a focus on your favorite Limelight patterned paper.
  • Uploads to SCS should have the keyword: LLPC011.
  • Participants should post a comment and a link to their card on my blog, all entries must be submitted by Sunday, December 21st, at midnight to win a 6x6 pad of the NEW (it's not even shipping to retailers YET!) Basic Grey Bittersweet Paper! (I will mail out the prize AS SOON as it gets here!)
So how 'bout that? I made a card! It's a quick one, but I did it! I'm hoping to play with this challenge more later. Brandi always does SUCH a great job with these sketches. I find myself using them again and again! When I saw this sketch, I immediately thought of Neopolitan ice cream! This Stampendous Ice Cream Float stamp is so much fun, and it fit perfectly with my idea! :) I used a few brads I received from my sweet DT friends as RAKs during our 12 Days of Christmas! Isn't that so sweet? They sent ME some cards and goodies during our 12 Days Celebration! :) For the scallops, I used the SU! Scalloped Border Punch.

Stamps: Stampendous! Ice Cream Float. Paper: WNP White, WNP Strawberry, WNP Chocolate, Basic Grey Sultry 6x6 Pad, Basic Grey Urban Prairie 6x6 Pad. Ink: Palette Noir. Accessories: Brown Stripe Ribbon, Copics, mm Brads, SU! Scalloped Border Punch, Liquid Applique, Pink Stickles.

Here's mine but I just realized I messed up by not putting a different panel on number 3. Oh well, it's been a rough day and I won't have time to fix it. Don't worry about including it since it doesn't fit.

That sundae looks yummy! I left space between my panels and turned the sketch on its side. Here is my card: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1163653?cat=500&ppuser=156271

Thanks!
