A SPOOKY Treat Jar

You know how it is when you create something, and it turns out JUST like you'd imagined? This was one of those projects! I was so excited and inspired when I saw the Spooky line by Pebbles, Inc. that I knew EXACTLY what I wanted to do with that Target Archer Farms snack jar I'd been saving. :)

I "sewed" 2-inch squares of alternating double-sided papers together with black satin ribbon in "x" shapes all the way around the jar. I then cut a circle out of one of my scraps of patterned paper and affixed a Spooky sticker (Trick or Treat) to the center of the circle. I then decided the jar needed a tag to have a finished look to it. I cut a square out of another scrap of the patterned paper and cut the corners using the Tag Corner Punch by SU!. I used yet another couple of scraps to mat the Haunted House and Spooky stickers, and popped them up on the tag using foam tape. And what is contained in this cute Halloween jar, you ask? Well...
A mixture of the Candy Corn and new Pumpkin Spice Hershey Kisses!!! YUM! I think this jar makes the perfect treat jar or even gift. I wanted to give it to my mom, who always kept a great treat jar at work. But I'm struggling with GIVING it away now... ;)

Paper: Spooky Circles/Black Swirls, Spooky Stripes/Orange Dots. Accessories: Spooky Stickers, Foam Tape, Assorted Ribbons, Hershey Kisses.

OH MY GOSH! That is just FREAKING adorable! I love it! I can see why you don't want to part with it too! Maybe it will be good to give it away and you'll have another excuse to see your Mom/visit the jar! She'll love it I'm sure!
