SKETCH 39: CANVAS!

Yep, that's right... We're using CANVAS for this week's Limelight Sketch and Product Challenge. :) Cuz we are daring and fearless like that.

For my card, I chose a base of SU Almost Amethyst. Most people say they don't like this color, but it really makes me happy! And it works beautifully with BG Sugar Rush! I layered 1.25" squares from the Sugar Rush paper pad onto the standard-sized card base, then placed a strip of Sticky Strip across the middle. I pressed on some pretty Pink Frost Sparkle Fibers....these are so much fun! I made a lollipop-style flower using the same patterned papers, and I embellished the center with a PTI button and twine. I incorporated the canvas with the sentiment, using a NEW Basic Grey Sugar Rush Canvas Tag. These are self-stick. (And they REALLY stick!) So simple!

I sometimes like to make very similar cards, using the same materials, but change things up a bit. I just got some SU Heart Treat Cups, so I really was itching to use one here... ;)
