Six Chicks Fall Decor

It's October 6, the day when the Limelight DT brings you fabulous inspiration for your Fall and Halloween home decor projects! :) Be sure to use the links in my right sidebar to view all of the fabulous projects brought to you by our Design Team, including our fabulous guest designer Sarah Martina!!

What can be an easier (yet still elegant!) fall gift than this? This project is no more involved than affixing several of the new Stampendous Fall Trees Copper Stickers to the lovely eggplant-colored mug and bowl that I picked up from Ikea. Super-cheap and quite beautiful! I have not yet tried it, but these Class A'Peels stickers claim to be dishwasher-safe. I do apologize for the HORRIBLE photos! It has been raining non-stop, and I'm not the best photographer!

Limelight Sketch 31: Texture

Happy Thursday, everyone! Welcome to another round of the Limelight Sketch and Product Challenge! Our focus for this week is on TEXTURE, and with all of the wonderful textures available at Limelight Papercrafts, it was hard for me to LIMIT myself to just a couple! LOL!

For my card base, I used Rich Razzleberry. I matted a piece of Indian Summer patterned paper onto Soft Suede cardstock. I used the brand new Stampendous velvet damask leaves stickers! Boy, are they ever soft and luxurious! Trust me, they are worth trying! We have them available in black, mocha, and olive. I just arranged and stuck mine directly onto the patterned paper. I used three black circles, and popped up leaves from the Unity Simple Blessings stamp set. Have I told you how much I adore this set? You had me at "pumpkins and leaves"! A length of black silk ribbon was tied around for a little more texture and fall warmth, and that's it!

The Details:
**Use the sketch above and dress it up with some TEXTURE!!

**Key word for SCS upload is LLPC031
**Post a comment with a link to your card right here on this post by Sunday, October 4, at midnight (or before winner is drawn Monday a.m.).

**PRIZE ~ One lucky winner will receive the BRAND NEW TaDa Itsy Bitsy stamp!

PLEASE REMEMBER!! Come back this Saturday for a whole BUNCH of World Card Making Day games, festivities, and PRIZES!!!

Etsy Inspired Guest Designer!

I am so thrilled and honored to share with you that I am the Etsy Inspired Challenge GUEST DESIGNER for the month of October! I was so excited when Ashley asked me to design for them, and I cannot wait to share some fun and creations with you this month!!

For this post, I only thought it would be fitting that I create a card for this week's Etsy Inspired Challenge, challenge #55. This challenge is featuring The Salty Cat Co. Etsy shop (a NC store! WOOT! WOOT!). Salty Cat has lots of gorgeous jewelry, and I chose this piece as my inspiration...

The cardstock I used is actually shimmery silver cardstock (SO PRETTY!! And on sale for only 0.25 each!!), but the lighting was not cooperating. ;) I'll choose to blame the lighting and NOT the photographer! The stamp set I used is the new Winter Swirls set from Papertrey Ink. LOVE it! The star stamp captured the stars in the square piece of the ring. Hope you enjoyed my card and that you check out my next post for a fun Limelight Sketch and Product Challenge! :)

Stamps: PTI Winter Swirls. Paper: WorldWin Silver Ore Petallics, Chocolate Chip, TaDa Twinkly Tidings - Sparkling Spruce. Ink: Chocolate Chip.
