SKETCH 65: CHIPBOARD!

I'll be posting a little early (it's not quite Thursday...), but maybe some of you are up tonight looking for a sketch challenge. ;) This week, we are focusing on incorporating chipboard, and I love my chipboard letters. :)

The card base here is Baja Breeze (SU), and I used a couple of patterns from Pink Paislee's Sweetness collection. LOVE these gorgeous papers. I used a doily, sprayed with Shimmerz Spritz (I used Mudpie), and cut a circle out to peek the patterned paper. The Basic Grey chipboard letters were inked up with SU's More Mustard to match the colors in the card. I really love the ribbon treatment. :) I bunched a line of Ivory Silk Ribbon and secured it with glue dots. I then wrapped some brown string (Sorry...out of stock!) around the pleats and tied a bow. Simple, but something elegant and fun at the same time. If you would like to purchase the ivory ribbon in a smaller amount, please let me know!

Be sure to check out our super-talented sketch designers:

Lynn Miller
Jennifer Taylor
Karen Baker
Lauren Bergold

And a NEW sketch designer, Maggie Haas! Maggie has been featured on our favorites MANY times! We are very excited to welcome her to the sketch team!

On more of a somber note, this card was made for my mom. It's, sadly, a sympathy card that will be needed this week. Please keep her especially in your prayers tomorrow, as we are saying goodbye to my Papa, mom's stepdad. Both of her biological parents have passed away, and her stepdad (who raised her) will be taken off of life support tomorrow afternoon. Please pray for peace and God's comfort.

THE DETAILS:
**Use the sketch provided and try to incorporate some CHIPBOARD!
**Key word for SCS upload is LLPC065.
**Post a comment with a link to your card on right here on this post by Sunday, January 23, at midnight (or before winner is drawn Monday a.m.).
**PRIZE ~ a package of Basic Grey Sugar Rush Woolies! Winner is chosen randomly from all participants.
